Section 01
A paper may propose material, explain mechanism, demonstrate performance, or report process exploration, and these aims require different supporting information. Read by defining the question through authors’ sample, controls, and conclusion coverage before judging support, rather than searching first for the highest number.

Section 02
Electrode loading, formula, counter electrode, temperature, rate, cutoffs, cycles, and sample count all change results. Notes should retain these conditions and separate half-cell validation from full-cell pairing instead of placing different protocols into one ranking table.

One performance point in a paper does not equal manufacturability, certification, or sustained delivery. Assess translation distance with additional supporting information for repeatability, scaled samples, full cells, manufacturing window, safety, cost, and third-party validation, marking what remains unavailable.
