Materials glossary

Cathode, anode, electrolyte, separator, conductive additive, binder, and collector have different roles. The glossary only identifies their level and common confusion; structure, performance, and manufacturing meaning belong on linked material concepts.

An acronym may describe only structural family, element combination, or process state and cannot alone state performance. Record names with formula, phase, surface treatment, or sample state where possible, avoiding marketing names in place of verifiable definition.
