It is a high-tech enterprise engaged in the development of sodium-ion cathode and anode materials as well as sodium-ion battery research. The company is headquartered in the National University Science Park of Central South University, with pilot-scale and industrialization bases under construction in Yueyang, Xiangtan, and Yiyang, Hunan Province. As a transformation experimental base for achievements from Central South University, the core members of its team primarily come from Central South University, with PhDs, senior engineers, and master's degree holders accounting for 50% of the staff. The founding team includes multiple experts with over 10 years of experience in cathode and anode materials and battery industries, all possessing extensive work experience in Fortune 500 new energy industry chain enterprises. The team holds high-level intellectual property achievements in sodium-ion batteries and materials, and possesses the latest cutting-edge technologies in sodium-ion battery materials, R&D, production, and processes. The company has been successively recognized as a "Hunan Province Science and Technology-based Small and Medium-sized Enterprise," "Advanced Energy Storage Materials Yueyang City Engineering Technology Research Center," "New Energy Enterprise with the Most Development Potential" at the First New Energy Technology Conference of Central South University, and "National Sodium-Ion Battery Assessment Pass Unit." It has also participated in the formulation of four standards, including specifications for sodium-ion battery materials. Adhering to the core values of "Innovation, Pragmatism, Progress, and Dedication," the company has completed the development and production process validation of high-performance hard carbon anodes derived from biomass reed, polyanionic and layered oxide cathode materials, and sodium-ion cell manufacturing technology. It has also established a complete patent pool for sodium-ion innovative technologies. Currently, the company has built a thousand-ton production line for sodium-ion cathode and anode materials, along with a supporting sodium-ion battery pilot line. The company is now planning to construct industrialization bases in Yueyang, Xiangtan, and Yiyang, Hunan Province.
