Professor Fan Changling Delivers Speech at Changsha Sodium Battery Conference, Jidian Teneng Unveils Three New Hard Carbon Products!
From April 22 to 24, the 2026 (4th) China Sodium-Ion Technology and Industrialization Seminar was successfully held in Changsha, Hunan. Professor Fan Changling, Chairman of Hunan Jidian Teneng Technology Co., Ltd., was invited to attend and delivered a keynote speech titled "Development and Industrial Application of Composite-Based Hard Carbon Anode Materials for Sodium-Ion Batteries," during which three new hard carbon anode material products were released, drawing significant industry attention.
In his speech, Professor Fan Changling officially introduced the company's latest three hard carbon material products, all achieving industry-leading performance indicators:
- **JD-1 (Standard Type)**: Initial Coulombic Efficiency (ICE) 91.95%, specific capacity 300.18 mAh/g — excellent overall performance, suitable for mainstream applications such as large-scale energy storage.
- **JP-1 (High-Power Type)**: ICE 91.45%, specific capacity 301.98 mAh/g — outstanding rate performance, meeting the fast charging and discharging needs of start-stop power supplies and two-wheeled electric vehicles.
- **JY-1 (High-Compaction Type)**: ICE 90.99%, specific capacity 299.72 mAh/g — high compaction density, specifically designed for high-energy-density power batteries.
"These three products, based on our unique composite matrix and microstructure control technology, achieve synergistic optimization of ICE, capacity, rate performance, and compaction density," said Fan Changling during the speech. "The products have already been validated by multiple leading cell manufacturers, and we are advancing the construction of a kiloton-scale production line."
Leveraging decades of R&D accumulation in carbon science from Hunan University, Professor Fan Changling and his team have achieved continuous breakthroughs in hard carbon materials. This speech systematically elaborated on the full-chain technical pathway from laboratory R&D to mass production and shared the company's industrialization experience in raw material selection, process optimization, and cost control.
Industry experts at the seminar highly praised the new products from Jidian Teneng, noting that the key indicators of their hard carbon materials are comparable to international advanced levels, which is expected to accelerate the commercial deployment of sodium-ion batteries in energy storage and power applications.
Looking ahead, Jidian Teneng will continue to focus on sodium-ion hard carbon materials, driving industrial upgrading through technological innovation and collaborating with partners to build a new sodium-ion ecosystem.
