On August 28, official media in the Eastern Economic Development Zone of Dazhou (by reporters Wei Hua and Zhang Luosheng) reported that since the start of Q3, focusing on Q3 targets, Sichuan Xingkong Sodium-Ion Battery Co., Ltd. Has pressed the 'fast forward' button on production, leveraging its smart production workshop to optimize manufacturing processes and lift capacity efficiency, with all staff on duty to fulfill orders and ensure delivery. In the company's PACK production workshop, smart assembly lines run in order, with energy storage cabinet production, assembly, wiring, system integration, and pressure testing processes efficiently connected; staff follow production standards strictly and rigorously control product quality, with batches of high-quality energy storage devices ready to be shipped to project sites across China and overseas (republished by 10jqka).
Xingkong Sodium-Ion currently has strong order volumes and production momentum, having secured orders from multiple regions including Shanghai, Hebei, Liaoning, Sichuan, as well as overseas markets, with cumulative orders exceeding 1.5 GWh. According to Yu Zhili, General Manager of PACK Manufacturing at Xingkong Sodium-Ion: 'Q3 is a critical window to sprint toward full-year targets, and we are running at full capacity, optimizing production processes and strengthening quality control, going all-out to ensure orders are delivered on time with quality.' The company continues to leverage smart equipment to iterate manufacturing processes and improve full-process quality control from parts processing to finished goods shipment.
In terms of background, Xingkong Sodium-Ion is located in the Eastern Economic Development Zone of Dazhou, with a 3 GWh PACK integration line already in operation, and signed a memorandum of cooperation with BASF (China) in March 2026 (covering energy storage and battery pack components and cell material optimization, bamboo-carbon anode and Prussian blue cathode research); on August 23, 2026, the Dazhou Municipal Government website disclosed that Xingkong Sodium-Ion and German Hoya Group will set up a joint venture in Hamburg to push sodium-ion energy storage products into the European market (see this project's 20260825-002).
The reported 1.5GWh is the company’s total order book, matching the previously disclosed figure. The August 28 report gave no new order volume, nor the value, destination or delivery schedule for overseas orders.
