On the evening of August 21, Shanghai Pylon Technologies Co., Ltd. (688063.SH) disclosed its 2026 interim report. During the reporting period, the company achieved revenue of RMB 2.644 billion, up 130.07% YoY; net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB 79.2862 million, up 469.92% YoY; and product sales of 3,431MWh, up 158.36% YoY, of which Q2 sales reached 2,254MWh, up 143.15% YoY and 91.50% QoQ. The company attributed the growth mainly to continued demand growth in the international ESS market, with household and C&I storage demand scaling in Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, plus continued growth of domestic light-duty power business and improved gross margins.
On sodium-ion batteries, Pylon continued to deepen its product layout across three core areas of start-stop, light-duty vehicles and energy storage: for the new-energy vehicle auxiliary power market, it developed a sodium-ion cell featuring low-temperature high-rate discharge and high voltage retention; for the light-duty power aftermarket, it released two polyanionic sodium-ion cell products with low-temperature discharge and fast-charging advantages; and for the ESS market, it developed a 300Ah+ large-capacity aluminum-case sodium-ion cell with a cycle life exceeding 10,000 cycles.
Overall, the company's products cover home storage, C&I storage, ancillary services, utility-scale storage, renewable integration, storage-charging, microgrids, portable outdoor, marine power, commercial battery-swap, electric mopeds and three-wheelers; during the reporting period it also launched a 6.25MWh 0.5C BESS based on 588Ah large cells for front-of-meter storage and AIDC backup, and an 8MWh 0.25C long-duration BESS based on 601Ah cells.
The report language is "developed/released products" and "continuing to deepen" — batch supply and customer adoption have not been separately disclosed; the 10,000+ cycle life of the 300Ah+ cell is company-disclosed data without independent third-party verification. Revenue and profit figures are per the company's interim report.
