MIIT published the proposed contents of its Batch 410 road-vehicle product announcement in August. The public-notice list included a FAW Jiefang battery-swap tractor developed with HiNa Battery, model CA4250P62T1BEVA16. HiNa said on August 12 that its Liyang operation supplied the sodium-ion cells and battery pack. The model was in the notice process at that time; the final batch announcement had not yet been issued.
The disclosed vehicle specifications include a 6×4 drive, a 10.21-tonne curb weight, a rear-mounted battery and a 240kW peak-power motor. HiNa described the pack as part of its Sea Star sodium-ion battery line for commercial vehicles.
In August, inclusion in the proposed list did not constitute final vehicle approval, mass production or customer delivery.
