Haike New Energy said on July 10 that its sodium-ion battery solvent business had entered a volume-growth phase. The company said the basic ingredients and gross profit per tonne were broadly similar to those of lithium battery solvents.
No shipment volume, revenue or customer-order total for sodium-ion solvents was disclosed. The company’s description of growth does not establish the volume of downstream sodium-ion cell production.
