Highstar Sodium Star and Shenzhen Bona New Energy signed a 1.5GWh strategic energy-storage cooperation agreement in early July. The stated applications include grid-side, commercial and industrial, and data-center storage.
Highstar Sodium Star is developing NFPP cells and has a planned 6GWh base in Neijiang. Bona New Energy has a 2GWh cell line in Harbin. The 1.5GWh figure describes the cooperation agreement; specific orders, projects and delivery dates were not disclosed.
