Profit falls into two categories: fixed capacity compensation, paid monthly by grids for reserved adjustable power regardless of actual adjustments; variable energy revenue, settled based on actual charged/discharged power used to stabilize grid frequency during power surplus or shortage. Sodium-ion batteries support over 2C instantaneous high-power charge-discharge with millisecond response, achieving higher compliance rates for grid assessment and full subsidy access.
