什么是钠电池的聚阴离子材料?

What are polyanion materials for sodium-ion batteries?

聚阴离子是高安全、超长循环钠离子电池正极体系,以磷酸盐、氟磷酸盐刚性聚阴离子基团作为晶格骨架,工业化主流产品为磷酸钒钠、氟磷酸钒钠。晶格刚性极强,钠离子反复脱嵌过程晶格形变幅度极小,几乎不存在结构坍塌风险,标准工况循环寿命可达 4000 至 6000 次;热分解温度突破 500℃,高温环境不易释放活性氧,针刺、挤压、火烧安全测试均不起火爆炸,全体系安全性能最优。放电电压平台平稳,电芯自放电速率极低,适配电网调频、工商业大容量储能、通信基站长时备电等高安全、长寿命核心场景。材料核心短板为本征电子导电性能极差,生产阶段必须搭配碳包覆改性、复合导电剂使用才能满足充放电需求;钒系前驱体原料采购成本高于普鲁士蓝,终端电池售价偏高,产品定位高端储能赛道,是新型电力系统配套长时储能项目首选材料,储能电站全生命周期运维成本大幅降低。


Polyanions form a high-safety, ultra-long cycle cathode system for sodium-ion batteries, with rigid phosphate and fluorophosphate polyanion groups as lattice skeletons. Industrial mainstream products include sodium vanadium phosphate and sodium fluorovanadium phosphate. The lattices feature ultra-high rigidity with minimal deformation during repeated sodium intercalation and deintercalation, barely risking structural collapse, and deliver a cycle life of 4000~6000 times under standard conditions. Their thermal decomposition temperature exceeds 500℃ with negligible active oxygen release at high temperatures, passing nail penetration, extrusion and fire safety tests without combustion or explosion, ranking top in safety performance among all cathode systems. They possess stable discharge voltage platforms and ultra-low cell self-discharge rate, suitable for core scenarios requiring high safety and long service life such as grid frequency regulation, large-capacity industrial & commercial energy storage and long-duration backup power for communication base stations. The material’s core shortcoming is extremely poor intrinsic electronic conductivity, requiring carbon coating modification and composite conductive agents during production to meet cycling demands. Vanadium-based precursors have higher procurement costs than Prussian blue, leading to higher terminal battery prices and positioning the material in the high-end energy storage track. It is the preferred material for long-duration energy storage projects supporting new power systems and drastically cuts full-life operation costs of energy storage power stations.
