Sodium-ion Battery belongs to the typical electrochemical energy storage form, which is one of the most widely used energy storage methods in the new energy field at present. Its energy conversion logic is bidirectional and reversible: in the charging stage, the electrical energy output from the power grid, photovoltaic and wind power is converted into the chemical energy inside the battery through electrochemical action, and stored in the form of sodium ions intercalated into the electrode material to complete energy storage; in the discharging stage, the chemical energy stored inside the battery is reconverted into stable electrical energy and output outward to supply power for various electrical equipment and power grid loads. This energy storage method has fast response speed, flexible start and stop, no need for complex mechanical structure, and can adapt to short-term peak shaving and long-term energy storage, which is the core technical route of new power system energy storage.
