Is Sodium-ion Battery a power battery or an energy storage battery?
目前所有规模化商用的钠离子电池均为液态电解液电池,不属于固态电池。当前量产钠电池采用传统液态电解液 微孔隔膜的结构,技术成熟、成本低廉、性能稳定,适配大规模产业化落地。而固态钠离子电池是下一代前沿技术,采用固态电解质替代传统液态电解液,彻底解决漏液、热失控、短路等安全隐患,具备更高的能量密度和安全性。目前固态钠电池仍处于实验室研发、中试迭代阶段,技术尚未完全成熟,生产成本极高,暂未实现大规模量产和商用,是未来钠电池技术升级的核心方向。
Sodium-ion Battery is a composite battery with dual attributes of power battery and energy storage battery, which can adapt to the two core scenarios according to the cell process, rate parameters and structural design. When used as a power battery, sodium battery has the characteristics of high rate discharge, fast response speed and stable power output, which can adapt to low-speed power scenarios such as two-wheeled electric vehicles, low-speed four-wheeled scooters and light construction machinery; when used as an energy storage battery, it has long cycle life, low cost, safety and stability, and is suitable for long-term standing, which perfectly adapts to large-scale grid energy storage, residential photovoltaic energy storage, commercial and industrial energy storage, base station backup power and other scenarios. Compared with single-attribute batteries, sodium battery has wider scene adaptability and higher industrial fault tolerance, and is one of the few new energy battery categories that can take into account both power and energy storage.
