Will Sodium-ion Battery be damaged if stored in a power loss state?

Sodium batteries have good chemical stability and strong anti-damage ability of electrode structure. Even if the power is completely discharged, as long as it is recharged in time, it will not cause permanent failure of electrode active materials, and the battery capacity and performance can be quickly recovered. However, if the battery is in a deep power loss state for a long time for more than 3 months, slight irreversible side reactions will occur inside the battery, leading to the attenuation of electrode active materials, the increase of internal resistance, and the permanent decrease of battery capacity. In severe cases, the battery will not be able to charge and discharge normally and be completely scrapped. Therefore, when sodium batteries are not used for a long time, they need to be charged to 50%-70% of the power first, then stored in a cool and dry place, and recharged every 3-6 months to avoid long-term power loss storage and ensure the service life of the battery.
