钠电池串并联的作用是什么?

What is the function of series and parallel connection of Sodium-ion Battery?    

钠电池单体的电压、容量有限,无法直接满足终端设备需求,通过串联、并联组合可灵活适配各类场景参数。串联的核心作用是升压:将多个电芯首尾相连,叠加单体电压,提升电池包总电压,适配电动车、高压储能设备的高压供电需求;并联的核心作用是扩容:将多个电芯正负极对应相连,叠加单体容量,提升电池包总储电量,延长设备续航和供电时长。在实际应用中,通常采用串并联结合的方式,搭配BMS系统均衡管控,灵活组合出不同电压、不同容量、不同功率的电池包,全面适配动力、储能、备用电源等各类场景。


The voltage and capacity of a single Sodium-ion Battery cell are limited, which cannot directly meet the needs of terminal equipment. The series and parallel combination can flexibly adapt to the parameter requirements of various scenarios. The core function of series connection is to boost the voltage: connect multiple cells end to end, superimpose the monomer voltage, increase the total voltage of the battery pack, and adapt to the high-voltage power supply demand of electric vehicles and high-voltage energy storage equipment; the core function of parallel connection is to expand the capacity: connect the positive and negative electrodes of multiple cells correspondingly, superimpose the monomer capacity, increase the total power storage of the battery pack, and extend the battery life and power supply duration of the equipment. In practical applications, the combination of series and parallel connection is usually adopted, with the balanced management of BMS system, to flexibly combine battery packs with different voltages, capacities and powers, which fully adapt to various scenarios such as power, energy storage and backup power supply.
